we have all wood floors and the dogs have no problem with slipping. Fred slipped about a little when we first got him, but not anymore. We jsut took the carpet off the stairs too, and the dogs have done just fine. I was worried that i would need to put another stair runner down, but fred has been doing fine on the wood. I am glad about that, since it is a lot easier to sweep the stairs then having to vacuum them.

Do any of your dogs have a hard time on wood floors? We are finally in our new house and Uma is like Bambi on ice whenever she tries to run on the wood floors.
