We have all tile floors except in the bedrooms and we have some throw rugs rugs at various high traffic areas. Ozzie usually "spins his wheels" getting up to sprinting speed on the bare floor, then uses a rug like a baseball player sliding into home plate.
So... we're constantly "unscrunching" the rugs. The positive thing is he was initially chewing the smaller rugs' end tassels and corners but lost interest quickly.
