Winston had his visit with the vet yesterday. He did very well, he seemed not so much worried as much as simply curious about the other dogs there. He has had loose stools since his arrival and sure enough the vet declared he had the whole trifecta of worms though she stated there was no reason to worry and gave us medicine for that, a combo of a tab we placed on his skin as well as 3 doses of white stuff we shoot right into his mouth. He eats it right up. I am hoping it works soon though as that stuff he is getting rid of now is hard to get up. I used Nature's Miracle at first but it wasn't doing the job with his runs so I found something called Poop-Off! which works really well. We blocked off the dining room which is empty at the moment as we have not yet bought our furniture for that room. I think because it is empty and usually uninhabited he particulary likes doing his business there. He is good in the living room but to be safe we have temporarily laid blankets all around so if there is an accident it is easily resolved. He loves chasing the dead leaves in the backyard and I think he has discovered that there are wild rabbits living under the deck. All in all it is looking like a nice fit for him here.
