As Riley is getting bigger every day, we have been working on some tricks and commands...and she seems to be smart as a whip and picks up on what we're asking almost immediately!
At 11.5 weeks...she knows quite a few:
  • Sit
    Paw
    "Other" Paw
    High Five
    Down
Up (stands on hind legs to take a treat)
    On your feet (stand)

Of course, we're working on the manners too, like Stay, Come, No Bite!, and Gentle...those seem to be dependent on her mood though :p

So, never having trained a puppy before - what else should we teach her?
We're working on Speak...and maybe roll over...

She certainly knows how to pose for a picture...!!

Dexter knows:

stay
roll over
play dead (our favorite)
paw
other paw (aka shake)
high five
finish (gets him into the heel position)

Kirby knows:
Sit
Down (still working on getting that one better)
Wait/stay
Shake (our new favorite)

they are both GREAT at "come to get dinner"

Oh yes, as soon as she hears the clang of her dish she stops in her tracks and makes a beeline for her dinner! That is definitely her most enthusiastic trick!

high five (always with left paw)
no bite

Annabelle does the normal doggie things

Her best is coming from anywhere when she hears the zoom on the camera open up and sits in front of me

She also knows how to read me like a book and knows exactly what she can get away with

And don't forget Mary - she is a geometry whiz!

Right now Tyke can sit, stay, sit up, dance, speak and give five. We are getting pretty good a roll over, but still need a treat for encouragement. She also fetches and loves to play with her chuck-it.

Cinnamon knows sit, stay, shake, down (lay down), heel, back up, come, come HERE (they mean different things at our house), Squirrel, Dog, Watch (look out front window), look (look out kitchen door), see (look out side door), No, leave it, don't eat that, Go get _____ (toy name). She knows a bunch of other words, but they are too numerous to go through.
