OK...took all 3 doodles out for a major run outback and then to the creek.
BEAU finally went in but not far.....Peanut stayed on the bank getting muddier by the second.

Then I had the bright idea I'd hold the stick up high , get them excited and THEN throw it in the creek. hahhaha Boy did I ever get muddy and a few paw prints too.

And They're OFF...

Loppers to cut sticks down and trying to say NO JUMP Peanut hahaa

BEAU ...last one down to creek is a rotten egg!

Peanut: OH yeah, it ain't gonna be me!

Hunting for sticks not knowing Mom is cutting some at the moment

Beau stops to smell the skunk cabbages hahhahaa

Max: " MOM i'm waiting and the water is getting cold"

Max gets all the sticks, Peanut watches and Beau well it's self explanatory in following pics

Beau: Oh this is mucky and silty, i'll wait for Max

Beau: Whadda ya mean we gotta go back? come on, just one more stick, Please!

AND I get a good laugh too

Great pics. I love when doodles get to run free and play. Adding water and mud just increases the fun.....except on the ride home. Was that on your property or did you have to drive? Sounds like it was at your place, my dogs are jelous.

okay for enquiring minds YES this is in my backyard it's 300ft x1000ft and the creek starts out shallow and after 3ft drops to 16ft and about 70ft wide.
so we walk back all muddy and hose off outside hahhahaaa
NO WAY I'd let 3 muddy doodles in my truck hahhaaa

1. white shirts show MUD easily hahhaa it's an old shirt anyway
I also found out Black Max doesn't show dirt but REDBeau does :wink:

these are the little PAWS that got me pawprints of mud

2. Miss Princess Peanut who didn't swim rather stole sticks instead

3. and back up at house this is standard procedure..Max goes 1st and then whoever I catch and coax is next hahhaaa

Coaxed but not happy..Peanut PREFERS warm water showers :wink:

This Pic is from last year and we hope to do this again with our doodles really soon

Lastly...this is the walk , the creek is at end beyond a small woodsy tall grassy area where i mow paths

What a beautiful place you have. I've lived MANY MANY places (military brat), and visited even more (but am SOOOOOOO NOT a tourist). I have to admit, I never new NY had homes with the beautiful land you have.

You SHOULD have a doodle romp !!!
