Getting very nervous because work tomorrow is fast approaching, I was on the phone this morning with 9...count em...9 different WalMarts in the greater Hartford area....much to my dismay, none of them had the PetNation soft sided pet crate like Dakota has..I needed the biggest, and they didn't have that size....soooo I thought I'd call two different Ocean State Job Lots in two nearby towns...and low and behold they both had the identical crate that I was trying to replace!!! And $19.99 to boot!!! Raleigh has never, ever attempted to scratch out the screens, or chew the canvas...I think that the reason he chewed it Friday afternoon was the fact that Molly was in his crate with a bone, and he was very frustrated that he couldn't have it, and took to chewing the zipper instead!! From now on, when not in use, I'll turn his crate around so that Molly can't enter! The Pet Cabana as it's called is made of sturdy canvas with three 'screen windows' and a peaked roof...30x30x36....I love it, and Raleigh has plenty of room to spread out!
Here are a few pics....plus one of the tired Doodle after we came home from shopping...he's ready for a nap, as am I!!!
And of course I put a nice soft old Walmart quilt in there for him!! Plus his toys...At that price I shoulda bought two!!!!

I love Raleigh's tent! Nicky's crate is 42 inches long x 27 inches wide x 30 inches high and Nicky can no longer stand up straight in it. Also it's not wide enough for him to sleep stretched out. When I bought it Nicky was 10 weeks old and I though surely Extra Large would be big enough! Not so!

What a bargain! Good thing you were able to find it over the weekend.

Does it fold up pretty small? Our crate is a wire one and its fold flat pretty easily but even folded, it takes up a bit of trunk space. Your canvas one might be a better idea for Charlie.

I'm sure Raleigh's relieved that he won't have to spend Monday in the gallows. :)

When it folds Deb, it's still 30x30...fits nicely in the trunk, and if I can get it back in the box it came in, is about 2 inches thick.....we're going to Virgina Beach for Thanksgiving to see in-laws, and are taking this with us....and the Doodle too...

Bwahahaha....yer gettin close Annmarie!!!! Actually, the housesitter is 28 yrs. old....lives with his Mom and Dad who have dogs too....when they're gone for the weekend and we're gone for the weekend he's running between both houses...Molly does not have to be crated and is very content on the couch, bed, lookin out the windows, etc..
Raleigh on the other hand has to be crated, and I don't want him stuck in there all day until Matt can get here...plus he (Matt, not Raleigh) likes the night life..which means Raleigh would be crated during the day AND night, and I don't want that....

Wow, great deal! Looks like it would be a good one to travel with. I'll have to check out the local Job Lots here to see if they have any.

The one in Schenectady is about 5 minutes from my house. Will definitely check it out! We will need a travel one for Thanksgiving.

Nice tent you have there Raleigh, I can't believe Mom let you up on the couch after you ate it

Molly if we were not going away for Thanksgiving, I would have had your Mom drop you off at my house - I hope you have fun having the house to yourself :0)
