It seems like only yesterday that we brought that cute little puppy home,
and yet it seems like she's always been a part of the family. Weird, huh?
Hershey will be 7-months old on June 11 (Monday). Now she is our
adorable wooly mammoth!!!

She did the funniest thing tonight at the dinner table. My wife and I were
eating chicken and Hershey had been putting her head on my lap hoping
that I'd drop a morsel. When that didn't work, she went over and nudged
the back door miniblinds to go outside. When I got up to open the door
she went running back over to my seat to get some chicken. Now that's
just too smart! I'm going to have to keep my eye on her (even more than usual)!

NOW that is ONE SMART DOODLE if you ask me!!!

Peanut is now 6mos old and a chuncky monkey wooly mammoth hahahaa

when it's time for bed and she knows its crate time she runs and slides under the coffee table lying like the perfect doodle. When you go to get her she then makes her body totally limp and lays on her back hahahhaa
i sometimes carry her then.

Max is going to be 1 yr old on June 26, 2007

Does Hershey shed? Let's see... the seller said that she would not.
But let me ask you a question or three:

* Do doodles have large amounts of energy?
* Do doodles drool water everywhere?
* Do doodles steal socks?

Same answer as the shedding thing and to the same extent.
But we LOVE her anyway! :p

i find it hard to belive almost 9mos ago we brought max home and he'll be 1 yr old soon. Peanut has lived up to her name as far as size in height goes hahahah ,otherwise she's butterball fluffernutter in weight/width. She was only 9 weeks old when we brought her hom and now she's 6 .5mos old.

Beautiful Hershey! And smart!!!
Too funny about the reasoning and her ability to distract you...it just might have worked, worth a try! LOL
The shedding will continue, but if you brush her a lot, it will get less as she gets past a year old. She will shed...F1s so often do...I hate it when breeders say that they won't. No one knows. We can give a "best guess" but throwbacks always come along, even in multigens. Still, the shedding, compared to the Lab, is usually much lighter...remember I am saying "usually"!
She is a beauty though!
