I've been reading some of the older threads in this forum, the threads from a year ago...and I have to say this:

I am SO LUCKY that I stumbled upon this forum while doing my doodle research. Each and every one of you are awesome in your own way. Whether you provide a much-needed comic relief, serious behavioral advice, a support system, not even to mention the time and effort that all the ethical, knowledgeable, kind-hearted breeders put in here...I feel like I have a Labradoodle Owners Manual right here at my fingertips.

I would have never gotten my beloved Dexter had I not found this site. Di knows how I feel about her...I can't say enough.....she's Granny Di, what can I say? I am PRIVILEGED to have been able to add one of Double D's pups to my family. She is a wonderful human, and will be a lifelong friend.

Kristin is my "doodle cousin" - we have littermates, we've spoken on the phone for the first time today :); it's very possible we'll meet sometime in the future.

And Jac, Annmarie, Maureen, Linda, Marty, Gene, Sue, Vanessa....I'm sorry if I'm forgetting anyone!!!...you all make my day. THANK YOU for being there, and for being the thoughtful, compassionate, humorous, people that you are, and for being a 'lay-person' resource.

This is what keeps me coming here every day, and I thank you all for the individual and unique gifts you add to this forum. God Bless.

Sugar-shack over!

Awwww Lynn...

I think I'm heading into a diabetic coma that was so sweet!

I have to ditto everything you said though! I don't think I ever would have gone through with it if it weren't for Annmarie helping me every step of the way! We are so in love with Sandy and its partly because of this board. Without you guys I never would have understood the teeth clicking, counter surfting, doodle 500 doodles and it could have been a much more stressful experience than it is!

I just
you guys!

edited to add - I can't believe I didn't specifically mention Di! Of all people NOT to give thanks to! Without her I really wouldn't have Sandy! Diane you are incredible!

WOW, that is so sweet Lynn. And you add so much to this forum also :) It's like one big happy family and I have not been on any other forum that has been as friendly as this one. I don't participate a lot on the forum, it just takes about every minute of every day to take care of my 4 legged babies and their 4 legged babies but I really enjoy reading the forum before I go to bed at night. It's the last thing I do before I give it up for the day. Sometimes I comment and sometimes I just chuckle and go to bed :D

I, too, would like to thank all of our forum buddies for being there, each in their own way, adding their take on things and giving support where needed.

I'd like to wish all the wonderful Mother's out there a Mother's Day like no others :)

This forum has been an invaluable help to me.....and Coco.....It is a great diversion in my day and provides me with needed counsel, a good laugh, lots of wonderful doodle fix photos, and of course, a sounding board for life issues....that Coco has been stuck in the middle of.....(She is no worse for wear!!)

Thank you from me, too! Everyone has been great!
I have referred people in Petco to this site for info about Doodles....hope they take a look and end up with a new puppy...and join us!

I am so honored to be among the great group of doodle lovers on this forum.
I agree that Diane is one of the best!
When I started on this forum, there were maybe 5 regulars, 2 of those were Linda (gracielou) and Diane (Dixiedi)...they have put so much time and effort into making this forum what it is today. They have both helped me through my struggles and cheered me on when I succeed. A special thanks to them.
As time went on, a few of the original regulars dropped away and I was so disappointed. For a while it seemed that the three of us were about the only ones writing...with an occassional extra now and again. Then Maureen joined and we found that our little group chats were helpful to many new owners and breeders throughout the world!
What a fun journey this has been...
And now, because of all of you who have been so diligent in helping and contributing, we are able to share more and more with the new folks that come along.
I agree, this is a great resource.
I will continue to read and participate on this forum, mostly because I feel that I have friends here and if I should stop checking in, I'd miss you all so much!
There are days I laugh right out loud, days that I weep, days that I feel such pleasure from the accomplishments of others here, and days that I get sad/frustrated because I feel so helpless, and even times when we share pain over the loss or mistreatment of dogs...but through it all...I have friends! People who really understand what I am feeling.
Thank you all for your contributions and for your kindess and especially for your friendship!
Okay, mushy time is over! (But I did enjoy telling you... :D )
Thanks so much to each and every person on this forum!
