Tanner's attitude adjustment has begun. However, I think it is Tim and I that are being adjusted :p :p

Both Tim and I were very impressed with our first session. She really seems to know her stuff. She reminds me so much of Sessa35 (Vanessa). She uses lots of praise, she gave us lots of homework. I really feel we are getting more than our money's worth. She is charging $135 for 3, 1 hr sessions.

We are working on his behavior when someone comes to the door and our house, on meeting strangers with or without dogs on the street, and with learning that nothing is free...everything must be earned.

She would also like us to bring Tanner to her class that she teaches in the Fall where he will also be working around other dogs.

One thing she does that I have not heard of before.....in her puppy classes....she has everyone switch dogs taking turns giving commands to each others dogs. For a shy dog like Tanner, that would have been very helpful if they had done that in his first obedience class.

Vanessa, do you make house calls to east TX? You sound like a natural trainer and Cali could use some polishing. She's not bad, but could use some improvement. I just don't have the skills. :?

Annie, it sounds like Tanner has a wonderful trainer. Can't wait to hear of Tanner's progress. :D
