I would also post something in your local paper about your missing sweetie. I would put up fliers with his picture around town. He may make his way out of the woods looking for food or warmth and someone may spot him. Keep looking and get the word out about him running away. The more eyes searching the better luck in finding him. I would also call your nearest neighbors and tell them to look and spread the word. Hopefully you'll get him home soon! We are praying for you.
