Slippery Feet

Our Labradoodle has a terrible time walking on our laminate wood floor - he slips and falls a lot! Does anyone have any suggestions other than over the floor with rugs??

I know this is an older post, but since I'm a newbie, I'm catching up on all the reading! My lab is indoors and we just put in beautiful dark hardwood floors. To our dismay, her nails are scratching up the floor terribly!! My husband wants her outside all day, but she's my buddy and it makes me sad not to have her follow me around everywhere! I just bought a cheap pair of fleece booties at Petco for about $6. It's kind of a pain to put them on/off when she needs to go out, but it's a solution to protect our floors (and I would think help the slipping around on laminate floors) and keep her in with me. She doesn't chew them, but has never been much of a chewer anyway. I figured if they didn't work out, it was only a $6 loss. They had more expensive booties, especially for warmth, but I'm in sunny California and didn't need anything to keep her warm. Hope this helps!! :D
The fleece botties have a little bit of something (like "pleather") on the very bottom to help them from slipping. It's not the greatest, but it does help a bit! :D Did I read correctly that there is a spray also for their paws? I'm tired and am not sure I read that correctly!!
