So I'm sitting here and all of a sudden Abby jumps two feet in the air and smoke is coming from the new vacuum cord! I think she just got her last lesson on cord chewing!

Oh no! Please check her mouth carefully for burns.

When I was young, a small boy I knew chewed through a lamp cord. He needed extensive plastic surgery to fix the damage. I always worry about these dogs and power cords.

That's the first thing I did. She's chewing on a Bully stick now which I'm sure is more satisfying than 110 volts

Glad she's OK. I warned my significant other that Ozzie would be attracted to high contrast black power cords. Sure enough I caught him working his way through the power cord for her exercise machine and yesterday he bit the end off a cell phone charger cord. Luckily the cell phone cord was only low voltage and the exercise machine was not plugged in.

Wow...glad this just scared her and not fried her

Our first labradoodle loved cords...all kinds. We spent alot of $$ buying covering for all exposed cords. Now many of the cords are still covered and Tanner has showed no interest...go figure
