i was driving around looking for parking near the house and found a spot. apparently someone else had his eye on my spot too and thought i was stealing his parking :roll: i was totally oblivious, but he decided to road rage me and came towards the car, angry, with his voice raised. shaia was in the front seat and she started barking at him!!!! i've never heard her bark at anyone (or anything) before!!! he saw her and backed down i was pleasantly surprised and somewhat comforted knowing that she will alert me to danger on the crazy streets of san francisco
funny thing is, i would have let him have the spot :roll:

As sweet as they are, I beleive Doodles to be fiercely loyal.
How old is Shaia? She may have just been startled herself, but either way, what a good girl!!!!!

i'm sure she was scared and thats why she barked!! she's 7 months. although she barks during play and so forth, i kind of wondered is she'd ever bark at the door or anything else since she is very silent! now that i think about it, she did do a little tiny warning "woof" to a lady doing tai chi in golden gate park one morning i think she was scared of her too.

Ha! I wondered the same thing about my Bailey when he was younger. I couldn't wait to hear his cute baby bark....well, now he never stops! :shock:
