We just got an email from the parents of Rufus. As a pup from our first Litter he was very Brindle.

Each day he would turn a different color. First black then tan on the legs and feet then chest then reddish brown all over with black tips on his fur. Now look at him...he took after his daddy...Dont you love his summer doo...

No he has entered the doodle protection program and will continue to change for up to three years. We were not expecting the change to be so drastic, He did change from the "brindle" to a tan and blackmuzzel and now this. Is it Clairol? or.. only his hairdresser knows for sure. And speaking of his hairdresser, we love his cut.. sent it to several people who had been questioning us about trimming..Happy doodle day to all

Welcome Mary! Rufus is gorgeous! I know the whole forum wanted to adopt the last brindle baby from the last litter! It's great to see Rufus and how beautiful he turned out. So is he 2 years old?

Hi everyone and Thank you.

The item in question by Rufus's foot is a huge bone I bought him for his birthday. He turned 1 August 7. I changed my avitar to a new picture of him standing with his party hat and getting his new bone on his birthday.
