My labradoodle, Tate, is 7 months. He loves going to the dog park. Unfortunately we just got an email that there has been an outbreak of a respiratory infection. Can someone tell me the signs to be on the look out for? Thanks.

gosh I havent had to deal with a respiratory infection yet in my dogs, but my cat had one a couple of weeks ago. her symptoms were sneezing, fever, not wanting to eat, not wanting to drink. I think its basically a cold or flu and can be transmitted in various ways including airborne or saliva. The vet said cats are prone casue they clean themselves and they also said cats U.R. infections dont go to dogs yeah!

I would just watch your doggy for any cold signs, and maybe call your vet to let them know what was said and see what they would watch for as well.
