Does anyone feed RAW frozen pattys? Maya has had diahrrea on and off since I have had her and I need to try something new. We have switched kibble many times. She is on Wellness now and she does have solid poo sometimes on it. Once she gets stressed it's back to diahrrea. I am so worried about her. She eats fine, plays hard, and is not losing weight however it can't be fun for her. I am thinking about RAW however I can't get over just tossing a chicken bone to her and with my crazy schedule I need something that I don't have to worry about as far as it being balanced. Any suggestions?

google tropical traditions organic raw dog food it sounds great and the chickens have eaten coconut which is soooo healthy. i think it would be a little to $ for us with all our doggies however im going to see how much it is in bulk. After getting lincoln to finally eat its WYSONG dry HOWEVER it contains corn and wheat. we are going to buy him chicken backs today. especially with his growling at strangers issue i want to make sure he is eating really clean too.

Hello! Check this site out. A local woman just emailed me about it . SHe has ordered from them for a few years and is very happy. I think she said it is 1.50 a LB however she also orders in bulk with others. I think we may also try it.

Sadie gets 1 Nature's Variety raw patty a day. We stay away from the chicken though...I don't think it agrees with her. Her other meal is Wellness kibble & canned mixed. Don't mix raw & kibble in the same meal.

Napa's on a mix of Nature's Variety. He gets Kibble, and two medallians. I really like it. They've even got freezed dried stuff, so it doesn't need to be frozen. I didn't go with the freezed dried one, but the freezer worked well for us. Plus if we forget to take down the raw, we can just feed him the kibble and he's golden!

I've been feeding them to my dogs for about 8 months. The big patties are just a little cheaper than the medallions, but I do both to give them some variety. They have little "taste of raw" trial bags for 4.99. If I forget to take them out to defrost, I just defrost in the microwave. I throw a little yogurt or cottage cheese on top and they love it !

The only thing about defrosting in the microwave ( which we are also guilty of once in a while :lol: )

is that it kills all the nutrients in the food and especially if it is in plastic in the microwave as the plastic leaches

Yea, I figure since they weren't getting cooked, I needed to be extra careful. So, that's why I liked the idea of the Kibble and the raw together. Like this week, we ran out of kibble, so he got raw full time, now that we've got kibble, he'll get kibble and raw, and when I move back home he'll get kibble and the occasional raw because Mom's probably going to blow a gasket if she sees what I feed Napa!
