I think they are way over the top on this, I have been breeding for 8 years and have never contracted Giardia from any of my puppies. We live in the country and my dogs have access to our ponds so we are constantly fighting giardia. I'd like to add that Panacur is not a good remedy for Giardia, metronidizole is the best. I tried the panacur at 6 wks and again at 8 wks and still had puppies diagnosed with giardia so I am going back to the metronidizole.
