Hi....

I currently have my first litter of F1B Labradoodles. They are a day shy of being 2 weeks old and I'm so anxious to see how their coats develop. 3 of them are already (since day 1) very wavy and the other 3 are straighter. But I know how much they change. My question is....one of the pups with the straighter coat is super soft. They're all soft, but his is REALLY silky soft. Just curious if that means anything on the outcome of his coat or not.

Thanks!! :)

Jac told me this when I questioned coats with Tuesday's litter....

"if the coat is curly at birth, it will be wool or sometimes wiry as they get older...but the flat coats, if short can either become fleece or Labby!"
I am thinking your straight-coated, SUPER-soft puppy is a fleece coat. Is it one of your dark reds? I sure hope so! Way to go, beautiful litter!
