Hi Everyone.. I'm new here. I do have a quick question that I'm very curious about.. bare with me

I've been trying to do some research but can't seem to find an answer to a debate I'm involved in right now..lol

Ok... if a person has an f1b Goldendoodle (male).. sire is a Goldendoodle bred back to a poodle. And also has a female.. sire is a lab and dam is a Goldendoodle ( sire of mom is a poodle and dam is a retriever) what is the "breed" of the female?

Also what would the puppies of these two be called....

Sire being the f1b Goldendoodle

Dam being the Goldendoodle breed with lab.. is this considered a double doodle?

Your input would be great. Thank you

I believe the female would be called an F1B Double Doodle as it has a purbread parent mixed with a 50% (F1) mix parent.

The offspring of those 2 examples you gave I believe would be called an F3 Double Doodle since it would be the 3rd generation of the mixed breed.
