Do all doodles change colors as they age? My Henry is dark chocolate but his face is slightly lighter than the rest of his body. Do you think his face will get much lighter? I've seen some pictures of doodles as puppies and as adults and it is amazing the transformation some of them have. I am also curious about the silvering. Does this only happen with the black ones? How do you know if your dog is going to silver or not?

Chloe's mom was a silver/black F1 and her dad was a cafe latte color poodle. She was pitch black as a pup but has continued to silver. She has big silver spots allover. She is really funny looking right now but beauty is in the eye of the beholder right?

Here is a conversation that happened at my house yesterday:

Daughter: "Mom, can you dye dogs' hair?"
Me: "I don't think so, honey. Why do you ask?"
Daughter: "I thought Rosie would be cute as a Blonde."

I was surprised that she didn't want to turn her poodle pink.
