That is horrible! I'd expect both the breeder and the pet store to help out with the vet bills but I'm betting they don't. I can't believe the pet store said they didn't know what else to do. Did they sell you this pup knowing she was sick? How can they do business that way.
Dora is very lucky to have you! If she were still at the store nothing would be being done to make her feel better. Keep us posted on her progress.

Good report from the vet. I had bronchitis last month and was miserable!

I'm also glad your still going after the pet store. Of course after looking at Dora's picture its easy to see why you couldn't walk away from her. She's a doll!

Keep up the fight! I love that you're going to the owner. Good for you.

We got Chester at a little family owned (mother and daughter place) pet store. I think I've told everyone how my husband and kids went to get crickets for our gecko and fell in love with Chester. I was leery about getting him from a pet store because I'd heard such sad stories. I also started to think about where would he go if we didn't adopt him and no one else did. After we took him home, the owner called several times to see how he was doing and how we were all adjusting. Its too bad there aren't more people like that.
