Does anyone know when the puppy teething/chewing/biting stage ends? It's driving me nuts but I know it is completely normal.

Also, when she is not chewing she is sleeping. Silly question but how much sleep is too much? She sleeps at least 16-18 hours each day. Does this seem right for a 12 week old puppy?

MIA you're lucky as most puppies are supposed to sleep alot at that age
the nippiness, well it comes and goes

you can try sitting on the floor with her facing away from you
what you do is take your hands and run them along her muzzle almost as if you were lightly closing it. she might fight you at first, just keep doing it

then work towards making her sit still and you stroke her head and back diong this for 5min ....you don't have to say a word or can say GOOD

teething? they lose many teeth between 5mos onwards ...and again at 10mos they have a strong urge to chew to breaking in adult teeth

kong teethers are good you can even put in freezer and then give it to her
and bones like THE TANK made my merrick are good

it gets better ....hang in there! and Congrats!
i am on my 3rd doodle puppy right now hahhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa
yeah, i lost it somewhere

This morning in Beau's obedience class that was the #1 question of at least 5 people (3 of which have doodles).

Treasure the amount of sleep they get now hahhahahahaa cause later on hahhaaa they have a bit of energy to release with naps farther and fewer between playtimes.

Beau is 6mos and still takes 2 naps a day/night

Wow!! Now I am worried that Abby doesn't sleep enough!!
She sleeps all night... :)
and has a nap in the morning after breakfast and a major 500...
and one in the afternoon...and then she does settle down
after the 500's in the evening and naps til bedtime??
I guess she sleeps alot.

Some days that I am home all day....it seems her naps are
just catnaps, and lightly sleeping, she doesn't miss one thing...
and with Coco responding to every sound...she wakes Abby,
if she is fast asleep.
But no way does she sleep 18 hours...
maybe 6- hours during the day and evening and
then all night...so maybe 14-16 hours a day.
Is that OK??? I guess it isn't so different than others.
