Hey y'all,
So a couple months ago I bought the sweetest little labradoodle. She was the sires first pick but they had to deal with some family stuff and ended up not taking the puppy. So long story short, the dog is perfect, but I'm deathly allergic to her. I've tried all the different antihistamines and I can deal with it if I take Zyrtec but I still am itchy and wake up with a sore throat and eyes. It's not ideal.
So my question is, what are the chances I'll stop being allergic to her? She was born 6/12/16 and she looks like a yellow lab with little whispy hairs and leaner features. See pic.
I've read some people talking about the shedding of the puppy coat leading to changes allergy wise but who knows.
There's really not much I can do if the answer is no, since she's part of the clan now, but I'd like to hold onto some hope.
I was told her parents were both later generation labradoodles (f6 & f2).
Alright let me know if anyone has any knowledge or just wants to guess.
Thanks,
Kevin
