Hi everyone,

In vBulletin, there are a few ways to access your private message box to read or send a private message to another user(s).

I've taken some screen shots for your viewing pleasure:

1. The easiest way to access your PM is by click on the link "PRIVATE MESSAGES" which is at the top right corner of your screen where you log in. This area is visible on EVERY page of the forum so you should always have easy access to it.

Also, in the same image I have attached, you should see a link in the main navigation menu called "QUICK LINKS." If you click on that, a drop down box appears and one of the options you can select is "PRIVATE MESSAGES."

If you want to send a private message to someone, you can do it in a few ways.

Here's one way that I like using. Let's say you're reading a thread and you see a user you want to send a PM to. Inside the thread, click on the username and a drop down menu should appear that allows you to select a link to send the user a PM.

See attached image.

3. If you select the user control panel link (USER CP) from the main navigation menu, you should land on a screen that gives you all sorts of options to customer your profile and experience here. Along the LEFT HAND SIDE navigation bar, if you scroll down, you should see a section for PRIVATE MESSAGES with a few options. Have a look.
