well it seems the combination of managing Mz princess Peanut's food intake and giving her Canidae Senior food mixed in with regular canidae has helped her lose weight so far!!!!

Peanut officially has lost 5 lbs
we're hoping Beau will help her with the OTHER 5lbs still to go

remember Peanut is turning a year old and being overweight could cause problems down the road. So we want a healthy stocky built PEANUT
and not a Lard a$$ hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I'm laughing because if I don't rein in my husband giving Cali treats, Cali may have to sign up for Peanuts diet plan. Good job Peanut! Does she act hungry or has she adjusted to the new regime?

She does not act hungry...when she does she can have a small snack of pineapple, handful of canidae and some sweet potato or green beans
(she eats healthier than me hahahaaaa)

she gets 2 - 2.5 cups food a day. dinner time is 6pm
that way she has at least 4 hours of playtime before going to bed and at least 1 long walk and 1 to 2 short walks.

when Beau is older (and peanut back to a normal weight) we may go back to free feeding? for now Beau would freely feed everyone's food hahahaa


OH how does any of my doodles act when hungry...they move their food bowl across the floor towards my feet hahahhaaa

I love when max thumps his paws in his ,then gives a sharp bark, and if still ignored when it's dinner time he moves all 3 foodbowls around hahhahaaaaaaaaaaa gotta lov it! :wink:
