Hello! First time mom to a Labradoodle in Scotland, UK. I got Pepper last week from a breeder, she will be 10 weeks tomorrow. Pepper is a very intelligent F1B miniature pup. Mom is a black F1 labradoodle and dad miniature copper poodle. I noticed that her skin is this blue/black hue and her roots are brown colour when in daylight. I am wondering if this means she is a silver and not a black pup. She is currently 100% black all over. Please tell me what you think. I have been trying to find photos and examples of signs for silvering but I can't find anything to compare my photos too.

Our black LD is more brown these days. He has some kind of skin disorder we think. What you've pictured there is how his coat started to change at first. May be completely unrelated of course.
