Peeing less?

For the last 2-3 days, Dexter's only been peeing once, maaaaaybe twice a day. He's been drinking just fine, he always has water available to him (except at night). He's pooping fine, and he's acting fine, and eating fine, so I'm tentatively ruling out kidney failure :?

I haven't had a dog since I was a child, so I don't remember peeing frequency...but do you guys think Dexter's OK? Is he just maturing? Is 1-2 pee sessions a day normal? He's 10 months old tomorrow.

Abby is almost 11 months old and I don't notice her peeing as much as she used to as she matures. When she gets up in the morning she will wait for me to get ready to walk her before she will piddle and then the flood gates open  I have left her in the house for a good 8 hours and she was fine. There are some days I notice she will pee more then others. When she was younger she would pee all the time and sometimes every half hour. I don't recall how old Dexter is, but if he around Abby's age I am sure he is fine, but then I am no vet
