Ever have one of those times when your Doodle is just so perfect?
We took Denver to visit friends today (one of which just got out of the hospital) Both of these friends are slow moving to say the least, I was a little worried about whether Denver would jump up, destroy their house with one of his doodle race track events etc. Well I am happy to say that he was perfect I mean he obeyed every hand signal, asked to go outside to potty, even his kisses were extra gentle. They were so impressed and were giving themselves high fives because they know me and were saying things like Oh well no wonder Sue would not have anything but a well trained dog. Ok here is the truth, Denver was on his best behavior and basically just did not have his usual crazy moments, but I had taken him to the park about two hours before the visit and he met up with his girlfriend, a lovely young golden retriever and basically they ran each other ragged for an entire hour, so by the time we went on our visit Denver was already exhausted, but I still took the praise and said but of course he is well behavedLOLOLOLOLO

Ok...does anyone have 1 or 2 days out of month where your DOODLE seems to keep doing doodle runs throughout the house on and off for hours? hahhahahha Ususally it's once a day for a 5-10min

Know what? I tell everyone in my house for them to "settle down", just stand back and let Max go crazy. Why not !
He also doesn't break anything so no harm done and I get the best laugh!! :D

You know, Sue, our smaller dogs used to do that...it was a mad house! We thought we had it licked because sweet Nitos is 8 monts old now and very calm...for the most part...but his happy dance is really remarkable. It is the funniest thing I have seen!
He has such a great sense of playfulness and he is a tease...so he grabs something (anything, from sock to paper to anything) and starts to laugh...yes, laugh! He has a sound that can only be laughter...and he goes around and around the same "victim" (usually his sleeping daddy Chase) until Chase can't take it any more and then Chase tries to get away, but Nitos keeps going around and under him and getting him high-centered and Nitos' tail is wagging soooooo fast that it blows your hair!
But if Chase is not right there for Nitos to plague, he finds someone else...the happy dance can happen in the middle of the night...and Nitos jumps on the bed, toy in mouth, and circles me and Dave!
All I have to do to stop him is rub his chest and he melts into a lump of contented dog and goes to sleep.
So cute!
