You must be so proud, way to go Doodle, good reader.
Dalton Allison, 8, reads to Joey, a Labradoodle owned by Barbara O'Conner, at the Dog Day Afternoon program, Thursday Feb. 15, at the Joplin Public Library. John Hacker | JoplinDaily.com
Raven's brother, Dalton, 8, said he enjoyed reading to two dogs, a Labradoodle named Joey, owned by Barbara O'Conner, and a Golden Retriever named Lucky, owned by Teddy Steen.
"I love dogs, and I love reading to them. That's why I've got two dogs," Dalton said. "I read to Joey and to Lucky. The fun thing about Joey is (that) he is a big dog, and he listens a lot. The thing about Lucky is that he listens a lot, and there are a lot of pictures in the books that are just like him."
It is so nice when your buyers do such wonderful things with their Doodles. Joey goes to nursing homes and hospitals, he's quite the guy and brings lots of smiles to many people and children. And, yes, I am busting with pride
Di, Joey is gorgeous and you must be the proudest mommy around. What a great program too! It seems every civic program where dogs are invovled is a big hit. And since doodles are such natural stars, of course they should be heading up the show!
His look is so intense and serious like he knows he has a job and his whole purpose is to do that job and do it well We breeders have the best and most rewarding job in the world. It doesn't get much better than this
Diane! Joey is stunning! What line is he from???
Wow! Aren't you thrilled? You must be!
Congratulations, my friend! This good publicity helps to show the world that Labradoodles are not only here to stay, but that they are exceptional pets!
I am so happy for you!
