I got an e-mail this evening from one of my puppy buyers telling me that Joey, a F1 Labradoodle from my kennel, made the newspaper.

Isn't he a cutie :)

Ahhhhh!!!
You must be so proud, way to go Doodle, good reader.

Dalton Allison, 8, reads to Joey, a Labradoodle owned by Barbara O'Conner, at the Dog Day Afternoon program, Thursday Feb. 15, at the Joplin Public Library. John Hacker | JoplinDaily.com
Raven's brother, Dalton, 8, said he enjoyed reading to two dogs, a Labradoodle named Joey, owned by Barbara O'Conner, and a Golden Retriever named Lucky, owned by Teddy Steen.

"I love dogs, and I love reading to them. That's why I've got two dogs," Dalton said. "I read to Joey and to Lucky. The fun thing about Joey is (that) he is a big dog, and he listens a lot. The thing about Lucky is that he listens a lot, and there are a lot of pictures in the books that are just like him."

It is so nice when your buyers do such wonderful things with their Doodles. Joey goes to nursing homes and hospitals, he's quite the guy and brings lots of smiles to many people and children. And, yes, I am busting with pride

That picture has so much expression in it. I can almost hear that cute happy boy reading aloud and almost imagine JOEY the doodle going"' Shhhh he's reading my favorite part now MOM."

There's something that keeps me coming back to view that picture over and over. I lov it!

His look is so intense and serious like he knows he has a job and his whole purpose is to do that job and do it well :) We breeders have the best and most rewarding job in the world. It doesn't get much better than this

Wow! Aren't you thrilled? You must be!
Congratulations, my friend! This good publicity helps to show the world that Labradoodles are not only here to stay, but that they are exceptional pets!
I am so happy for you!

Thanks Jac, Joey is an F1 out of my Pooh and Johnson from 4 Paws. He's 2 1/2 years old and I just love his look. He is a half brother to my Winnie and Hannah. Thanks for asking :)

If all F1's looked like Joey, I wouldn't even bother with any other generation. I get so many people wanting that look. If I could only clone 'em

Yes, his siblings all look like him. 3 of them come to our Doodle Romps each year, I'm hoping that Joey will be able to make it this year since it's going to be in Howard.
Here's 2 of his siblings:
