I have been sick with a fever, cough, cold etc.
Last night, we left Bogie out of his crate! We did gate off the living room and kitchen & another bedroom, but he had 2 bedrooms and a hallway free to himself.
BOGIE SLEPT WITH ME ALL NIGHT!!! (I'm keeping this "disease" away from DH)..........His warm little furry body was spooning with me when I woke this morning. We have REALLY BONDED!
When my Springer died last November, I thought it would be forever until I felt this again!
When I got out of bed, he looked at me and yawned, then rolled on his back for a belly rub.
He went out did his business then ate..........came back in and then slept awhile in his opened crate.
I think we've turned a page.......YAY!! He'll be 6 months old next week!!!
I sooooooo needed this right now!!!

Congrats Linda, A big step, and at such a young age. Nothing better than waking up snuggling with your doodle. That's great!!! :lol: :lol: Marley usually hops out of our bed at some point in the night and takes his position on his bedroom floor pillow. But that is ok, he is getting bigger and takes up too much space, usually on my side!! :lol: :lol:

You got it gene! This "whatever it is" is a real BEAST! Both my brother and I caught it, so it must've been from the hospital. Dad has it too, which isn't helping his condition.

Well..............it even got better last night! With me being sick, I'm staying in the other bedroom. Hubby forgot to close off a door when he went to bed and that gave Bogie the run of the entire house and basement! He didn't do anything but be a good boy! He couldn't get on the bed, so he slept at the foot of it.............but with ME!! hahahaha!! I'm soooo in doodle love!!

I had it the past few days. It hits you hard. I was out for two and a half days. My whole body was run down. Whatever it is isn't something to mess with. I took meds and sleep. My sister-in-law had it and she said just sleep it off. And that helped. I hope you feel better soon. Just take it easy.
