Annmarie I was going to pm you and I still will but....You and Dave are truly GREAT people and I am so glad I pmed you a month ago and very glad we got to know you two. I have enjoyed all our talks before and after we got Beau. I want to thank you for letting me and my family step into yours. With us getting Beau and letting us stay with you.

You didn't have to be so darn nice. But I am glad you are. I hope with all we have been thru this past month we can call each other friends. Again thank you for your hospitality. By the way those Strawberry's were GREAT for Breakfast. I will so have to do that again. But it won't be the same with out you.

Very nice story Annmarie. It touched my heart sadly, warmly and in the end, happily. A great tribute to Beau. Your new friends. Your family. But most of all...to you. Bravo Annmarie, Bravo

...my mind a tabula rosa (blank slate) as i try to say someting besides a big THANK YOU ALL
(yet i can write articles and long winded replies on doggie questions)

I am sitting sipping my morning coffee smiling and being thankful to be a member of this forum, wearing a smile,
and happy to have posted an article that has a Happy Ending.
Writing this article, mended my heart :like putting a bandaid on an invisible boo-boo---all gone! :D
replacing it with sheer happiness knowing everyone wins this time :D

ps Linda know any good publishers? I have a book 2/3rds writtten
and i have someone to edit it already.

That was such a wonderful tribute! As I told Annmarie, she has once again taught us that sometimes showing real love for our dogs means doing what is best for THEM, instead of what would make us happy. She has managed to make 4 doodles and a lot of people happy with her wise and brave decision!! You go, girl!!!

my breeder just called me and she said she cried reading Beau's tribute that it came from the heart. so at the same time it warmed her heart to know Beau found a really loving great family.

I did get her to giggle over silly things Beau likes to do and how Beau's new family will have a ton of laughter in their house.
