I am originally from Maine, but spent much of my life in California. Now currently living in Melbourne Australia. I am an ER Nurse on sabbatical for now and just enjoying taking care of myself and my partner and my million plants! LOL. I absolutely love dogs. I have had dogs all my life. I had a Yorkshire Terrier for 17 years who passed away almost three years ago. It took me a long time to even want a dog after losing her. She was the best dog I ever had and it broke my heart, but I think I have grieved enough and just really excited to get a new family member. My partner and I are seriously looking for a labradoodle which brings me here. I am here to learn and research so we can give the best love, care and home to our future furry family member. I have found a breeder that I like who appears reputable. I have reached out to them, but have not heard back yet. Currently have my bed, kennel, play pen and my list of puppy supplies. I know the right furry friend will come to us at the right time. In the meantime I look forward to learning about labradoodles and getting to know some people on here and hopefully go to some dog meetups if that is a thing here in Victoria. Thanks for reading.
