My doodle takes no notice of us when we try and be stern, he is obvious trying to be the leader, and as much as we say no or leave, it goes over his head. I have tries putting him in the crate, but he cries all of the time until I open the door, then it all starts over again.
Any tips pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

thanks for all advice, Otto is almost 11 weeks old, and soon we will be able to take him out walking. This is when we will celebrate, when he is feeling naughty I will take him out.
The crate thing, he sleeps in it at night no bother, he does not like to go in through the day unless the door is open. I put him in it at lunch time while we eat as he has started to jump up at the table when we are eating, this I will not put up with.
Answer to Jac, I spend a lot of time with Otto trying different tricks with him, he can sit, give his paw, lye down and plays fetch, but he loves to wrestle and play tug. He has a large cardboard box which he chews and jumps in and out of. I am doing my best to train him as there are no classes in my area.

Hi Maureen, I am in England, and where I live there are no classes, I would have to get into a car and drive for miles. I will try and stop the tug games and see if it makes a difference, although my other two dogs I had we played games and they were fine
