Hi! I'm new here but have been lurking since late Feb. We have a 14 yr. old chocolate lab and a 15 week old chocolate LD. It was love at first sight once I saw her pic on the internet. I want to thank you all for all the wonderful information you share about your doodles, it's been very helpful, 14 years is a long time between puppies! I have learned so much about dog food since I starting reading this site. For that reason I have decided to change Dixie from Purina One LB puppy food to something else that scored better. I think I like Natural Balance or Blue, both are at local pet stores. My question is -What do you think about feeding a puppy Natural Balance Ultra Premium? It says it's good for all life stages. Is this really a good thing to do or would a large breed puppy food be best? Thanks!

Thanks All for your replies. I bought the NB Ultra premium dry last night and fed both my 14 year old and 15 wk old LD a 50/50 mixture with their current food. They both seemed to love it. Time will tell, I'm hoping to see some improvement in my 14 yr. olds coat. The puppy already has a shiny coat but her stools are loose so maybe they'll improve.
