I was looking at my new 11 weeks old puppy (Labradoodle) and i noticed he had 6 nipples is this normal?

Sam is a boy doodle and I think he has at least 6 possibly 8.

I'd never find Charlie's under all that hair but our standard poodle had 8 nipples. She had two litters of puppies so it was pretty obvious what her capacity limit was.

As a breeder we never worry about the males as long as they have the other anatomy they need. :lol: :shock: :wink: Anyway I really don't think this is abnormal so no worries about his belly.

Henry has at least six. I thought it was weird at first too. Now that he is older and his fur has grown in you can only see a couple.

When he was little and they were very visible our four year old neighbor came over for a visit. Henry rolled over for a belly rub and the little boy said about his nipples....."oh, I love his polka dots." :lol:
