My doodles had just been treated with their montly flea and tick med and did not want them to get wet while I watered the yard. Put them in the garage ..Pretty soon our came Zoey ...I thought maybe I did not latch the door well...so I closed it really tight ...Few minutes later she came bounding out again ....This time I put her in the garage and watched. Dying to get to the water sprinler she just raised up and placed her paw on the door latch and voila ....I guess 75 lbs of doodle can open a door latch...but I dont think she can unlock it .....

That is so funny! Nothing like having a pup make you second guess yourself.

I saw a show where a dog in a kennel would go around, open the other kennel doors and let all the other dogs out

I had a Doberman who actually did that kennel trick. My vet couldn't board her anymore because she set all of her friends free!! We also had a horse colt who could open gates....that was delightful. Zoey is a very resourceful girl!
