OK cast your vote folks BEFORE Max gets weighed this week at the vets .

Linda said Max would weigh approx70-72lbs according to her calculations.
I had said ( while back) Max would not hit 70lbs.

If Max is 70lbs or more LINDA WINS and i will be teased to death hahahhahaaaa And Linda will be the expert weight/growth charter
AND if Max is 69.9lbs i'll save face which means GENE can't tease me for once :D

Fact: Max is now 12.5mos old
at 11 mos old he weighed 65lbs at the vets

Cub just got weighed

Poor Cubbie! He is at this monent at the vets. Today is the day they cut on his "family jewels". I couldn't wait to see what he weighed. The last time he was weighed was January weighing in at 25 pounds. Well when they weighed him this morning, he had more than doubled his weight to 54 pounds. We pick him up at 3:00 this afternoon. I have a bone for him to try to keep him quiet. Hope it works. He was 10 months old on July 1 st. Do you think he is about to his weight or do we have a little more growing to go?

Cub is home

Cub is home and I feel so sorry for him. He usually has a "smile" on his face. He looks so confused and in pain now. He moves so slow and wants to be near me for love and petting. I am glad I paid the extra $10.00 for a worm test. Most of the time his poop was good then for no reason that I could think of it would be runny or sometimes almost liquid. I did know that worms could cause this and he was treated for worms at his first puppy check up. Well he tested positive for hook, rounds, and whipworms! I got Interceptor from the vet and they said that will take care of it and heart worms also. I also didn't know that if you go outside barefooted that you can get the hook worms in your feet! I often would go out to feed the birds in the front yard with out my shoes. Guess I won't do that any more. They said not to let little kids run barefooted in the yard. She also said that she pulled paper towels out of his butt!! This was news to us when she asked if Cubbie got into my trash! He would walk by and lift the lid with his nose and look at us sometimes. I would tell him No but I guess he was only showing us what he does when we arn't around. Any way, he won't get his bone until tomorrow I guess because all he wants to do now is lay around. Don't know how I am going to keep him calm for two weeks though until the stitches come out!!
