Hello. My family and I are looking to adopt a young or adult Labradoodle. We are hoping for a medium or mini. He or she must be good in a family with kids. We have a fenced in yard and are very experienced dog owners. We live in Boston and would be willing to drive a good distance. Thanks!

You could try the Doodle Rescue Collective. Or try searching poodle on petfinder. They will list all doodles as poodle mixes. Sometimes it will say labradoodle other times it will say poodle mix. A lot of the time they require a fully fenced yard.

Your other option is to try to become a guardian home for a local breeder. They will waive the fee but you will have to commit to a certain # of litters.

It is really hard to find adult doodles. I tried for 6 months and finally purchased a puppy. Good luck with your search.
