I live outside of Columbus about a hour North of Columbus. I have two kids, ages 7 and 11. I am looking to adopt or rescue a female tan colored labradoodle. I would prefer a young pet but it doesn't matter.

If you know of one in Ohio. The only ones I see are puppies and I didn't want to do a baby and have to potty train it. I am looking for one my kids can grow up with.

Thanks,
Sam

You probably won't get a color preference on a labradoodle rescue (I've learned rehomes are very rare) but you are fortunate that your kids ages' allow you the ability to rescue through Doodle Rescue Collective - I'd put in an application there, that's your best bet.

I am looking for a labradoodle at least a year old to be trained as a psychiatric service dog. I am a veteran from the Iraq War serve two tours overseas suffering from PTSD and TBI. The dog and I will train together at Wags 4 Warriors. I need a labradoodle because my wife has asthma and allergies. I do currently have a small dog that is 3 years old and is hypoallergenic, however he is to small. He is also a cavashon. I also have a 2 year old daughter. I live in Berea, Ohio in a house with a large fenced in backyard. If anyone can help me with this. Please send me links to adoption agencies or anyone willing to donate so I can continue my therapy and training a dog and be able to join my wife and daughter in public again.

Thanks
Jim
