I went into Annabelle's bedroom to get something and this is what I saw, I guess she has been playing "toy soldiers" all lined up in a row, cracked me up, had to get camera

Then of course, Annabelle heard camera and came to see what Mama was taking pictures of and had to jump up and protect her soldiers

LOL she does have to give her room up when someone comes to stay (although if you leave the door open it's fair game) , she also shares with Mom if Mom wants to watch TV in bed while Daddy is sleeping

Question---Did AB line those up herself?

If so---amazing on the timing of your sharing that photo as Paul and I JUST saw a tv show where they featured this dog that did just that--line up stuffies in geometric patterns (like triangles or straight lines) and by type (frogs, gorillas, birds, etc) and then by positioning (heads up/faces down/touching one another/linking arms)....CRAZY STUFF!!!....they had all kinds of behavioral specialists who came and studied the dog...and yes, he did these things all by himself--when left alone in the backyard to play or in the house...the owner never prompted any of it--just always kept buying more toys cuz' she thought the dog really liked its "collections"!!!!!

AB is "SPECIAL"....a hidden genius trying to tell us things in patterns...LOL!!

Yup - she lined them up - I went in the room to get something and there they were - earlier they had been scattered on the bed. So either AB lined them up or our ghosts are roaming again - last week they threw a box of dryer sheets onto the laundry room floor

Incredible! I had a female greyhound mix who used to do stuff like that. Isn't that some sort of "nesting" behavior?

Wow! That's amazing! I've never had/seen/heard of a dog with organizational skills! Perhaps she could be a service dog and do filing?!

When my granddaughter was a baby, she would take all the puzzle pieces and line them up around her room and then put them all back together. She had ALOT of puzzles and the line was maybe 15 feet long. We thought she was a baby genius but now I know its just doodle behavior.

I posted her picture on another thread. She definitely has doodle hair and Charlie thinks of her as a puppy. We may have to run her DNA to see if she's part doodle. ;)

LOL I'm not sure I wanna know the answers - I can see answers like:

"What the heck does Mom want me to do that for?"
"OMG, Mom has finally gone over the edge"
" She wants me to do what?"
"She bought me the toy, says it's mine, then yells at me or takes it away when I try to disect it, I'm just trying to learn, isn't science a class in school?"
"O NO, she's got that darned camera out again, talk about embarassing"
