Lexie's Surprise for Mama

Whooo Hoooo....Lexie just delivered her final litter...(that isn't the whooo hoooo part, that is a booo hooo part) and, I just love her so much and have so many mixed emotions about t this being her final litter...she gave us the cutest puppies! But, Lexie is very Labby so, for her health (she is getting heavier with each litter) I decided this was the last one for her.
Well...normally Lexie give us 8 pups. The first litter had 3 cream colored BOYS and the rest black, the second litter gave us 1 cream colored boy and the rest of the litter black.
Well, she finished her litter of 10 (TEN!) this morning...every one black. So it goes. I took my pictures, and was counting toes and looking lovingly at coats, and Lexie started pushing again...out pops a cream colored pup...no, a CARMEL colored pup...I closed my eyes...so excited, yet...dare I hope??? Then I take a peek...IT'S A GIRL!!!! This little one is MINE! I have wanted this girl since I first saw a doodle!
Lexie gave me a beautiful gift...a pup from Lexie and Chase, the best parents ever, and my sweet carmel girl! THAT'S the whooooo hoooo part! :D
Pictures later...now, back to mama Lexie and my babies!

Aw Jacque...what a beautiful ending to a beautiful story!!! Many,many happy years with your new little girl!!! Try to go and get some much needed rest!

Congrats JAC........a nice ending too, finally a little girl from Lexie just for you!! can't wait to see pics soon. Get some rest honey

Here are some pictures of our day...we thought we were through at 10 black pups but as I was taking pictures, she started to push again...




And here's my girl!






And...she was nursing off of her back foot! She is so cute...a strong little girl too!

Awww Jac...what a wonderful way to end my day by reading this. Heartfelt congratulations to you..........GOOD GIRL, LEXIE!!!
