Have any of you had your Doodle spayed (not sure if that tense is correct) by Laser surgery? I was reading on a website that it was a much better way to do it and was hoping someone could tell me about their experience.

Also, if you used Laser and have insurance, was it covered?

cissy if you go to www.vpi.com there's a 800 number you could call and ask if it's covered as i would think a spay is a spay and you're reimbursed according to the TYPE of plan/reimbursement coverage w/deductible you choose

and if you do a search i do believe someone discussed this not too long ago

The vet offered it as an option when Cali was spayed, but I opted for the less expensive traditional surgery. I kind of wish I had gone with the laser surgery since Cali's incision pulled apart a little bit and left her with some extra scar tissue on her tummy.
