My dog has a lot of tangled knotty hair, especially on his ears and body. I admit sometimes I forget to brush his hair for a week or two because I get busy on work. I'm just a bit scared that when I detangled them I'm hurting him or the hair won't grow back from stress of pulling and brushing the hair. Does anyone here know how to remove them without hurting them? I'm thinking maybe olive oil or VCO so that it gets soft first before brushing.
