We just moved to a new house and Maya, who is 1.5 years old, has been jumping off the bed and couch onto hardwood floors, and it seems like its putting a lot of pressure onto her front legs when she lands. It doesn't seem to bother her at all, but I'm wondering if she could be hurting her legs or causing a problem that will arise somewhere down the road.

I wouldn't think that at her age now it would be an issue I know they don't like puppies jumping at a young age. How high is the couch and bed? Unless they are extremely high I really think she will be fine. Other thing you can do is just keep her off of them but that will take retraining her now.

Annabelle is allowed on beds therefore jumps, well actually she "flys" onto the beds and jumps off, havent ever noticed it bothering her - all my labs have been bed sleepers and we never had any problems - unless she lands "wrong" she should be fine I'd think
