I'm home from surgery

Hi Everyone!!!

Thanks for your well wishes!! Everything went great but I am in a lot of pain I keep whimpering and Mama feels so bad for me!!! She gave me lots of hugs and kisses though. She also bought me lots of ziggies which is my favorite treat and some bones too. She said something about a delivery from dog.com with lots of new toys too but it isn't here yet so we will see. Here's some pics of me right after I got home.

PS My mom says thanks for all the great advise. Especially about going potty before going home cause I really went A LOT!!!!!!

Hang in there Maya!!! Enjoy all the treats and spoiling you're gonna get. And stay quiet for 10 days just like your mom tells you, OK????? :roll:

You just relax, sweetie....

(OK, how about at least 3 good quiet days.....?)

OH Maya, we sure hope you feel better real soon honey.
Max had the same look you did when he came home.

glad to see your MOM is getting you LOTS of toys and giving all those extra helpings of kisses and hugs :D

You look so sleepy....try to stay calm for your Mommy...Mommies worry a lot!!! And pretty soon you'll be chasing butterflies again! :wink:

Aww, Maya, it will get better.

We got neutered two weeks ago, and just got our stitches out this afternoon. Wooooo eeeee! We got to stop at Dog Park on the way home from the vet and romp until we dropped. More fun than we had our entire two weeks of being "quiet" at home! That crate rest stuff is for the birds.

Now Blue gets to move to Idaho, just in time to learn his new electric fence line before winter! Something about something called "snow," whatever that is.... We hope he writes when he finds work.

Get well soon! You'll be all better before you know it.

Well she wouldn't sleep in her crate last night so I had to sleep on the floor where she could see me then all was quiet. I am a lite sleeper and woke up to sounds of licking. Once I adjusted my eyes the little turkey somehow managed to quietly turn her collar in a way where she could chew the end that was holding it closed and get it open just enough to lick. Right now we are on a phone search for the new kind that is out but haven't had any luck. I think I am going to try the doughnut kind from Petco. Right now she is chewing on a compressed rahide bone. I know its not the best thing to give her (I heard rahide is bad for dogs) but it is keepng her occcupied and not licking her incision.
