Bailey is 11 weeks old.
We're trying to get our puppy on meal times.
Morning is fine. She eats and goes out to poop just fine.
Supper is another story. She takes a few bites, plays a while, later a few bites, play, etc.
I want her to eat all her meal in one sitting so we can better predict when to go out to poop.

Is this unreasonable? Is it okay to just leave her food down for say 30 minutes and after that no food till next meal? Will that encourage her to eat all her food when it's time to eat?

Thanks for any help.

LOL I had a trainer tell me 2 MINUTES! That in the "dog" world they were lucky to get 2 minutes at a kill and they should be given only that to eat. I get indigestion just thinking about it!!

Perhaps you can offer dinner after she is settled and then if you don't feel she ate enough offer a small snack (the same kibble) before bed. Eventually she will eat her dinner.
