I've been lurking around here for a week or so, which is how I discovered that Beau needs a new home. I could tell from Annmarie's posts that it was a tough decision to make, and my heart really goes out to her, but at the same time, I'm really excited to get to be Beau's new mom. I don't know what it was, but the second I saw his picture, I knew he was the right dog for our family. (Does that sound crazy?) I'm so glad that Annmarie felt the same way.
We live in Wasilla, Alaska, about 40 miles north of Anchorage and have an acre, with lots of yard and trees too for Beau to enjoy the great Alaskan outdoors. Our boys are young, but have been dog lovers from the start. In fact, my toddler's first word was a bark. No kidding. We were out for a walk one day and he heard a dog barking in the distance and he barked back.
I'm so glad I found this board, and Annmarie and Beau. I am looking forward to Beau's arrival and will post some pictures of him with my boys.
