My male doodle 5 month old puppy had 3 "accidents" today and one yesterday, that after averaging only one per week. He is being crate trained and when out of the crate we keep our eye on him (mostly!) and bring him outside regularly. Why the sudden accident surge? What I really want to know is, how long does it take to train & trust your doodle??? We've had him nearly two months now. Thanks much (from a newbie on this forum)

Sam is a little over 4 months. After not having a toilet accident in the house for about a month, he had 2 accidents in 1 week. I have a colleague at work who has a puppy of similar age and also recently experienced a housetraining regression. I figure this must be normal.

hang in there...i tethered their leash to me so i could watch them at all times and walked them every 30 to 40min in beginnning

molly (14 weeks old) has taken 2 weeks to realise she has to go outside, its just a case at the moment of watching her and predicting when to go:

i take her out:

whenever she wakes up
After exercise/play
after eating/drinking

seems to have done the trick

I take Cacao out when she gets up and 15mins after she eats and after play. But also about every four to six hours.

She does good. She is only 15 weeks old.
