hey gene, my vet says oral antibiotics really do nothing for an eye infection so save those for another time. like maureen i always have a bottle around for times like this!! in the meantime WASH YOUR HANDS A LOT! it is contagious and you an jonas can both get it! use a washcloth with warm water and wipe the gunk, it is possible it could go away but usually they do not. if the vet says treat just the infected eye I highly suggest you do both!! learned the hard way on that one
