Thanks for asking. The city did condemn their house, so they have their eye on a new house now. Cristine said the hardest part is going to be the cataloging of all the possessions for the insurance company. All their furniture, appliances, tv and most belongings are a total loss. With the city shutting off the power and the weather....the water won't get a chance to dry....only freeze. Their spirits are good, so I would say they are doing fine. As for my brother and his wife with 3 extra cats and Teddy....I don't know. At least my brother David has company while he's recovering from his leg injury.....

Glad they are hanging in there - has to be very hard, especially not being able to sift thru their belongings, long road ahead, will keep them in my prayers.
Also your brother, hopefully Teddy is keeping a close eye on him, puppy hugs and smoochies also help with healing !

Mary, how thoughtful of you to ask......

gene, I hope they continue to be strong during this time. I still can't wrap my mind around something like that. I'm glad they seem to have their game faces on.....strength, strength, strength to them....

The biggest problem for my brother is even with Teddy's size......he seems to always be underfoot unexpectedly!! Tough on crutches with a 120# obstacle.....
Gosh that would be tough, I'd be tripping over the crutches, I would prob be in trouble with Annabelle bouncing around

Sounds as if each day at a time is being handled positively. Hope your brother recovers soon and doesn't reinjure himself!

Amazing how these big dogs can trip you up (or I guess I should say ... down  )

Prayers and good thoughts continue for all!
